this yummy little porcelain pot was thrown on the wheel and had a teal underglaze applied to the outside walls while still wet - it was then bisqued, clear glazed, and fired in an electric kiln to cone 6 - afterward, I added it into a soda firing with a dip of flashing ship on the top half and then finished it off with one final luster firing (using mother of pearl!) - the result is so earthy and metallic - its truly one of my favorite pieces finished to date.
